In a beautiful piece of nature just outside Steenwijk, surrounded by lush forests, a magnificent new recreation park is currently being developed: 't Landgoed Baars. At ’t Landgoed Baars, RecraPlan has adapted the existing meter cabinets to read smart meters from Schneider Electric digitally. These innovative meters not only record electricity consumption but are also linked to the water meters of the bungalows. This allows both staff and guests to easily and accurately view the consumption readings of their stay.

Thanks to the smart technology, all meter readings are automatically recorded every 15 minutes and displayed in the RecraPlan dashboard. This provides park management with optimal insight into energy and water consumption and enables quick identification and management of consumption peaks. For guests, this means transparency and convenience: they can see immediately how much electricity and water they are using, contributing to awareness and responsible resource use.
